K-12 School Surveys

At the Center, we conduct multi-district stakeholder satsifaction surveys as a primary service to our school and school district clients.  We believe that this powerful district benchmark data better enables our K12 education clients to improve their school climate, enhance their organizational culture and improve leadership through a better understanding of these school survey dynamics.

We conduct the following school surveys on a periodic basis throughout each school year.  Please contact us should you wish to participate in one of these surveys or click below to learn more about a specific school survey.

School Climate & Culture Survey

Purpose: Our intent with the development of these survey benchmarks was to measure employee perspectives on issues of organizational culture, school climate, employee morale and teacher satisfaction. Our belief is that these characteristics of the organization are not just linked with one another but also with development of K-12 leaders and successful schools.

Survey Structure:

  • Participants: all school and district-office employees
  • 70 multiple choice, 5 point Likert scale questions and 6 demographic related questions
  • 4 open-ended comment questions
  • Current Database: ~71,000 responses from 2009-2010 school year.

Teacher Attitudes & Beliefs

Purpose: We have long wanted to conduct a completely teacher-centered survey but never had an opportunity. This year we decided to create the opportunity by hosting a Center-sponsored reseach project whereby we would develop, in concert with participating districts, a survey instrument and, subsequently, a national database of response data.

Survey Structure:

  • 45 - 50 multiple choice questions and 6 to 8 demographic related questions
  • 3 to 4 open-ended comment questions
  • Online administration
